- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in a technical support role.
- Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.
- Willingness to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion.
- Analytical skills to study problems and records and identify solutions.
- Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills (Excellent in written and oral communication skills are specific for explaining technical issues to common people)
- Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software/hardware/internet connectio
- Repair and replace equipment as necessary
- Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Provide technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Establish accounts/emails for new users and assist with password or login problems
- Analyze records and logs to spot potential issues
- Support the implementation of new solutions or applications
- Maintain procedures and reports that provide technical support to the entire organization
