Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site IT Support Staff role based in South Tangerang. The IT Support Staff will provide first-line technical assistance to internal users, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on desktop computers and related peripherals. Responsibilities include handling help desk requests, responding to tickets, and escalating complex problems when necessary. The role also involves installing and configuring systems and applications, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that IT equipment and services operate reliably. The IT Support Staff will document solutions, support user training, and collaborate with the broader IT team to improve processes and service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong technical support skills, with the ability to provide effective assistance to users and resolve common IT issues.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems, including root cause analysis and resolution.
- Hands-on experience working with desktop computers, operating systems, and standard office applications.
- Solid understanding of information technology concepts, basic networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience in help desk support, including handling tickets, prioritizing requests, and maintaining service levels.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues in clear, user-friendly language.
- Ability to work on-site, manage time effectively, and support multiple users and tasks simultaneously.
- Relevant education or certifications in IT, Computer Science, or related fields are advantageous (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+).
- Familiarity with security best practices, data backup procedures, and basic system administration is a plus.
