IT SUPERVISOR
Job Summary :
The IT Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily IT operations, ensuring the stability of hardware, software, network, and help desk support services. This role supervises the IT team, manages troubleshooting processes, and oversees IT asset procurement to ensure all technical support activities run effectively and support company operations.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise daily IT support operations, including troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and user issues.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of technical problems and help desk requests.
- Monitor the performance, maintenance, and security of company IT infrastructure and devices.
- Coordinate IT support activities and assign tasks to team members effectively.
- Maintain and update IT systems, software installations, and device configurations.
- Monitor IT inventory, asset management, and system documentation.
- Handle procurement processes for IT equipment, hardware, software, and operational technology needs.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend specifications for IT devices and infrastructure purchases.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding pricing, quotations, purchasing, and delivery processes.
- Ensure purchased IT equipment aligns with operational needs, technical standards, and company budgets.
- Ensure all IT operations comply with company policies, procedures, and security standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to support operational and technical needs.
- Provide regular reports and updates regarding IT operations and system performance.
- Support the implementation of new IT systems, tools, and process improvements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting processes.
- Experience in managing help desk support and IT operations.
- Familiar with IT procurement, hardware specifications, and vendor coordination.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
