Responsibilities:
• Monitor and respond to security incidents across applications, servers, and cloud environments.
• Implement logging, alerting, and basic SIEM practices.
• Perform root cause analysis for security-related incidents.
• Secure multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, Tencent).
• Define and enforce access control, credential management, and key rotation.
• Work with DevOps to implement security best practices in CI/CD pipelines.
• Review application security, including APIs, authentication, and authorization.
• Identify and mitigate common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
• Ensure the security of financial transactions and sensitive customer data.
• Identify security risks and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Maintain basic security policies and documentation.
• Support audits, incident reviews, and management reporting when required.
• Work closely with DevOps and Developers to integrate security early in the development lifecycle (shift-left).
• Act as the security point of contact for internal teams and management.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT Security, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in IT security, infrastructure, or DevOps-related roles.
• Good understanding of Linux server security, Networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPN, SSH), Web application security.
• Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, or Tencent).
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident response processes.
• Practical knowledge of: Access control and identity management, Vulnerability assessment and mitigation, Secure system configuration.
• Experience with financial, transactional, or API-based systems is a plus.
• Security certifications are a plus (not mandatory): Security+, CEH, AWS/GCP Security Fundamentals.
