IT Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who is responsible for building, maintaining, and improving automated testing across web, mobile, and API-based products. This role requires strong understanding of QA processes, automation scripting, test strategy, and modern AI-assisted development tools.

The candidate should be able to work with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Maestro, and Allure Report, while also being capable of using AI tools to accelerate automation scripting, test case generation, debugging, and test maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.

• Build automation test suites using Playwright for web applications.

• Build mobile automation scenarios using Maestro for Android and/or iOS

applications.

• Generate and manage test reports using Allure Report.

• Convert manual test cases into reliable automated test scripts.

• Create reusable automation components, fixtures, test data, and helper functions.

• Maintain automation scripts to ensure stability across product changes.

• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Analyze test results, identify failures, and work with developers to resolve issues.

• Collaborate with QA, Product Managers, UI/UX, and Engineering teams to

understand feature requirements.

• Support regression testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, and release validation.

• Define automation coverage strategy for critical user flows.

• Use AI tools to assist in automation scripting, test case creation, debugging, refactoring, and documentation.

• Ensure automation scripts follow coding standards, naming conventions, and maintainable structure.

• Track automation progress, test coverage, flaky tests, and defect trends.

• Continuously improve QA automation process, tools, and best practices.

Main Requirements

• Minimum years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing.

• Strong experience with Playwright for web automation testing.

• Experience with Maestro for mobile automation testing.

• Experience with Allure Report for automation test reporting.

• Good understanding of QA methodology, test planning, test scenario design, and defect lifecycle.

• Able to write automation scripts using JavaScript, TypeScript, or other relevant scripting languages.

• Familiar with API testing and tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API testing, or similar tools.

• Familiar with Git, branching strategy, and code review process.

• Able to debug failed automation tests and identify whether the issue is caused by

test script, test data, environment, or application bug

- Able to work with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.

• Good understanding of selectors, DOM structure, wait strategy, test data handling,

and test isolation.

• Able to create clear test documentation and automation reports.

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

• Able to communicate issues clearly with QA, engineering, and product teams.
