Job Overview
We are looking for an IT QA Governance Analyst to oversee quality standards, compliance, and process governance for government software applications. You will ensure project teams meet regulatory standards, maintain strict documentation, track quality metrics, and prepare applications for official audits and government system integration.
- Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and monitor QA policies and compliance standards for public sector/government software projects.
- Conduct QA process audits to ensure systems meet government IT guidelines, security compliance, and interoperability standards (e.g., SPBE).
- Track and report key QA metrics (defect rates, test coverage, system reliability) to stakeholders and project leaders.
- Prepare comprehensive QA documentation, test plans, and audit trails required for government sign-offs and external reviews.
- Identify delivery bottlenecks and continuously improve testing workflows and governance practices.
- Collaborate with developers, QA testers, and government project leads to enforce quality gates throughout the SDLC.
- Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Software QA, IT Governance, or System Compliance.
- Must have direct experience working on government IT projects or government-facing applications.
- Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC in Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Hands-on experience with project tracking tools like Jira, Confluence, or test management platforms.
- Familiarity with government IT frameworks, national compliance standards, or ISO standards is a plus.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and English communication skills.
