IT Project Manager
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
Employment Type: Office-Based, Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, highly organised IT Project Manager to join our team in Jakarta. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing multiple software development projects simultaneously, ensuring clear requirements, strong cross-functional coordination, and consistent delivery against agreed deadlines.
While day-to-day coding is not required, you must possess strong technical confidence in front-end or back-end development (ideally both) to communicate effectively with engineers, evaluate project requirements, and resolve technical blockers proactively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple IT, web, and software development projects concurrently from initial scope to successful delivery.
- Establish clear project requirements, timelines, milestones, and actionable task breakdowns for engineering teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts across front-end, back-end, UI/UX, and infrastructure specialists.
- Monitor project progress continuously, conducting regular sprint and progress reviews to ensure delivery schedules are met.
- Identify potential delays, technical blockers, or resource constraints early and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, task trackers, progress reports, and management updates regarding project health and risks.
- Ensure delivered features align with original technical and business specifications before final sign-off.
- Refine internal project management workflows and software delivery practices continuously.
Requirements
- Project Management Experience: Proven track record of managing technical, web, or software development projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Technical Understanding: Solid working knowledge of front-end (responsive web, UI architectures) or back-end systems (databases, APIs, integrations), as well as the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Leadership & Accountability: Confident in delegating tasks, conducting team meetings, following up proactively, and holding team members accountable to commitments.
- Language Skills: Professional working proficiency in English (written and verbal) is essential for technical communication and documentation.
- Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site at our office in Jakarta.
What We Offer
- Direct involvement in driving key digital platforms and enterprise infrastructure projects.
- A collaborative, professional working environment with exposure to full-stack development teams.
- Opportunities for career growth and professional development in IT management.
