Job Description
- Plan, manage, and oversee end-to-end IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and third-party partners to ensure successful project execution.
- Review technical solutions, system architecture, integration designs, and data flows to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Bridge business requirements with technical solutions by working closely with development and infrastructure teams.
- Ensure project delivery follows SDLC, Agile, Scrum, or DevOps best practices.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, deployment, and go-live activities to ensure smooth implementation.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, provide regular project updates, and escalate critical issues when necessary.
- Evaluate vendor deliverables and ensure compliance with project requirements, SLAs, and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by promoting project governance, delivery best practices, and post-implementation reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.50 (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing end-to-end IT projects (5+ years for Senior level).
- Proven experience delivering application development, system integration, ERP, DMS, infrastructure, or data-related projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira.
- Good understanding of system architecture, API integration (REST), microservices, event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka), and enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), networking, and security fundamentals.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT, Data Warehouse/Data Lake concepts, basic SQL, and BI tools such as Tableau is an advantage.
- Ability to understand architecture diagrams, integration patterns, and data flow designs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications are an advantage.
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant in Programming, Software Engineering, Database, System Analysis, or related IT subjects is a plus.
