Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server, operating system, virtualization, and storage infrastructure.
- Provision, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure environments.
- Build and prepare production environments for handover to the SRE team.
- Perform capacity planning, infrastructure sizing, and performance optimization.
- Design and support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Plan and support infrastructure patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and IT Security teams to ensure reliable and secure platforms.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, runbooks, and technical records.
- Drive infrastructure standardization, scalability, and reliability improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, System Engineering, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, System Administration, or related roles.
- Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, or Debian).
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V, or OpenStack.
- Understanding of storage, backup, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, Routing, Firewall).
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD environments.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools.
- Scripting or automation experience (Bash, Python, Ansible) is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to collaborate with SRE, DevOps, Security, Product, and Project teams.
