Job Overview:
As an IT Infrastructure Engineer Intern, you will be working alongside our experienced IT team to assist in the setup, maintenance, and support of our on-premise and cloud infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience in configuring servers, managing network devices, and troubleshooting infrastructure-related issues. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining on-premise servers and cloud-based environments.
- Support in monitoring and managing network devices, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Assist with backup and disaster recovery processes.
- Monitor system performance and provide input on potential improvements.
- Document infrastructure processes and maintain accurate system logs.
- Work with senior engineers to implement security best practices and updates.
- Participate in hardware and software inventory management.
- Learn and apply IT automation tools and infrastructure management software.
- Assist in ensuring uptime and reliability of the company's infrastructure systems.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and server management.
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the IT infrastructure space.
