Job Summary:
We are hiring a Functional Consultant to identify business problems and elicit business requirements for our clients. To be a successful candidate for this role, you should have experience working with teams to bounce ideas, brainstorm available solutions, analyze different technological approaches, evaluate technical solutions, and practice best system methods to fulfill client requirements efficiently. In addition, the candidate should perform multiple diagnostic tests to secure optimal system performance. In summary, a Functional Consultant should have excellent communication skills, especially in coordinating with clients on updates and adjustments as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Implement Dealer Management Systems for automotive clients on the Dynamics platform
- Lead business requirements sessions with clients
- Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and design specifications
- Conduct functional fit or gap analysis between business requirements and products
- Create and review applicable documentation such as requirements definition, functional specifications, design specifications, test plans, scripts, etc
- Perform product configuration and customization during presales and implementation phases
- Ability to present and demo solutions based on customers' requirements
- Conduct UAT sessions with clients, product training, and workshops
- Advise clients on the capabilities and limitations of the functionality, custom development, and more
- A liaison officer between business and technical people
- Implement best practices, standards, and procedures, including quality and delivery methodologies
Skills and Experience Required:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university, majoring in Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Management, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of working experience in the IT industry as a Consultant/Business Analyst with strong demonstrated consulting and client-facing skills
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience with Dynamics CRM and/or Dynamics AX.
- Obtain knowledge of automotive business and/or Dealer Management System is an advantage
- Successfully delivered a minimum 2 complete cycles of IT implementations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Willing to travel locally and overseas. Travel may vary depending on the assignments
