Job Description
We are looking for an IT Data Analyst who will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and transforming data into meaningful insights to support business, operational, and management decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from various internal systems and databases.
- Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and data summaries for management and related departments.
- Build and maintain data visualization using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Analyze business trends, operational performance, and key metrics to support decision-making.
- Work closely with IT, Product, Operations, Finance, and Business teams to understand data needs.
- Perform data checking, reconciliation, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support database queries and data extraction using SQL.
- Identify data issues, inconsistencies, or anomalies and coordinate with related teams for correction.
- Provide ad-hoc data analysis based on business or management requests.
- Maintain documentation related to reports, data flow, and analysis processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information System, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as Data Analyst, IT Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including Pivot Table, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data cleaning.
- Familiar with SQL for data extraction, filtering, and analysis.
- Experience in creating dashboards or reports using Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Able to understand business requirements and translate them into data reports or analysis.
- Good communication skills and able to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple data requests.
- Experience in IT, digital product, SaaS, telco, fintech, or technology company is a plus.
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of database structure and data flow.
• Familiar with API data, CRM, billing system, transaction data, or operational reporting.
• Basic understanding of Python or other data processing tools is a plus.
• Able to present data insights clearly to non-technical users.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with large datasets
