Job Title: IT Business Process Analyst (IT BPA)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Process Analyst (IT BPA) to bridge business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing process improvements, preparing functional documentation, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. This role requires strong analytical thinking, business process modeling expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Identify business challenges and propose effective technology-driven solutions.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements and documentation, including Business Process Specifications (BPS), Use Cases, Meeting Minutes (MoM), Requirement Documents (RDM), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documents, and other project artifacts.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Create and maintain process flows, business process diagrams, and system documentation.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure business requirements are accurately understood and implemented.
- Support testing activities, including UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution.
- Participate in project discussions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), and identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology adoption.
Minimum Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst, or a similar role.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in writing and understanding SQL queries.
- Experience using Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
- Familiarity with Figma for basic system design and process visualization.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
- Ability to create process diagrams using Draw.io or similar tools.
- Understanding of program logic and application workflows.
- Experience modeling business processes using flowcharts and process diagrams.
- Knowledge of Nintex Workflow technology.
- Understanding of API concepts, structures, and system integrations.
- Strong understanding of database structures, relationships, and data modeling concepts.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, emerging technologies, and their application in business process improvement.
