Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our project delivery team. This role requires a strong analytical professional who can gather and translate business requirements, manage stakeholder communication, and support end-to-end IT project execution to ensure successful system delivery.
Requirement
● Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
● Minimum 2–5 years of experience as Business Analyst, System Analyst, Product Owner, Project Coordinator, or IT Project Manager.
● Experience in software development projects, system implementation, digital transformation, or enterprise applications.
● Experience working with cross-functional teams such as developers, QA, UI/UX, business users, and vendors.
● Experience managing project scope, timeline, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
● Strong business analysis and requirement gathering skills.
● Strong documentation skills for functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
● Good understanding of software development lifecycle.
● Basic understanding of database, API, system integration, and application architecture.
● Ability to manage project timeline, risks, issues, and dependencies.
● Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
● Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
● Ability to translate business language into technical requirements.
● Detail-oriented and organized.
● Project management tools: Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, or similar.
● Documentation tools: Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Confluence, Notion, or similar.
● Diagram tools: Draw.io, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or Figma.
● Spreadsheet tools: Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
● Basic familiarity with API tools such as Postman is a plus.
● Understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery.
● Ability to create user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog items, and sprint deliverables.
● Familiarity with UAT, SIT, release management, and change request process.
Responsibilities
● Gather, analyze, and clarify business requirements from stakeholders.
● Translate business needs into functional and technical-friendly documentation.
● Act as the main communication bridge between business users, product owners, developers, QA, UI/UX designers, and management.
● Create and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
● Coordinate project activities across business, technical, and vendor teams.
● Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers.
● Ensure project delivery is aligned with scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
● Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare progress reports.
● Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, review sessions, and retrospectives if using Agile methodology.
● Prepare user guides, release notes, or training materials when needed.
● Support user training and knowledge transfer.
● Support test scenario and test case preparation.
● Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with business users.
● Review testing results and track defects or change requests.
● Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are feasible and properly understood.
● Assist developers during implementation by clarifying requirements.
