We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our Company as a IOT Engineer Intern (paid program) based in Ungaran, Indonesia or nearby areas
Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist the Infra/Operations team with day-to-day system monitoring and maintenance.
• Assist in configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks (routing, switching, VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP).
• Perform network performance, device testing, and protocol validation (TCP/IP, VoIP, DNS, DHCP) using tools such as Wireshark, iPerf.
• Support basic system engineering tasks including server setup, IP addressing, and service configurations.
• Participate in system and network integration (firewalls, load balancers, radio/optical networks, cloud platforms).
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and test IoT devices and related systems.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and IoT devices with cloud platforms and backend applications.
• Implement IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, BLE, LoRa, Zigbee, etc.
• Ensure the security of IoT data and devices against potential threats and attacks.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of deployed IoT devices.
• Collaborate with the software development team to create optimal IoT solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest IoT technologies and apply them to project needs.
Qualification:
• Active student or fresh graduate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in embedded systems programming (e.g., C, C++, Python).
• Experience with IoT platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT, or similar is a plus.
• Understanding of IoT communication protocols and networks (MQTT, CoAP, BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRaWAN).
• Knowledge of IoT security and best practices for securing devices and data.
• Familiar with the use of sensors and microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team with good communication skills.
• Ability to produce clear and well-structured technical documentation.

Placement in Ungaran (hybrid with 2x on-site arrangement).
