What Will You Do
- Assess IoT requirements and translate them into software and firmware solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for IoT devices, sensors, and embedded systems.
- Implement and integrate device communication using protocols such as MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, Modbus, UART, RS-485, BLE, and cellular.
- Integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms, backend systems, databases, and monitoring applications.
- Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization of firmware and IoT systems.
- Support device deployment, commissioning, remote monitoring, and field troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including firmware specifications, communication protocols, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, solution teams, project managers, and field teams.
- Continuously improve technical knowledge in embedded systems, IoT, communication protocols, and cloud technologies.
What Will You Need
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded programming, IoT engineering, or industrial instrumentation.
- Solid understanding of basic electronics, embedded systems, and hardware-software integration.
- Experience working with sensors, industrial devices, and automation systems.
- Hands-on experience in MCU programming, particularly STM32 and ESP32, using STM32CubeIDE, PlatformIO (Arduino/ ESP-IDF).
- Understanding of RTOS and bare-metal MCU programming.
- Knowledge of IoT platforms and cloud services such as Node-RED, ThingsBoard, Microsoft Azure IoT, or AWS IoT.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, Modbus, and SNMP, as well as REST APIs.
- Familiarity with embedded system debugging and measurement tools such as multimeters, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL and InfluxDB.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Continuous learner with the ability to adapt to new IoT and embedded technologies.
