English 1 is an international organization that operates mostly on a franchise basis. As one of the largest franchise groups, we are recruiting our own staff to be located across the Jakarta Greater Area, in one of our centers.

We have 15 centers spreading across the region. There are 6 centers in Jakarta, the Metropolis. (Pluit, Tebet, Tanjung Duren, Cengkareng, Puri Indah, and Tanjung Barat), 6 in Tangerang, a suburb of Jakarta (BSD, Gading Serpong, Tangerang City, Ciledug, Graha Alam Sutera, and Green Lake City) and3 In Bogor, a satellite city near Jakarta (Bogor Pajajaran, Taman Yasmin, and Sentul).

All of the centers are equipped with the latest teaching aids, materials and educational multi-media technology.

Qualification

We are continually looking for qualified EFL Teachers who meet the requirements to obtain a work visa:

Passport holder of UK, US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand

Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English or Bachelor’s

Degree in any field supported by TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/etc

Must be able to provide the original documents upon arrival: University Degree, Academic Transcript, and TEFL/TESOL Certificate

EF English First Indonesia began operating here in 1986 offering students and the public opportunities to travel overseas to learn English at an Education First Center.

EF SWARA group opened its first franchise center in Pluit, North Jakarta in 1997 and from there we have never looked back. 23 years later, EF Swara is now the largest group in Jakarta, and in West Java, with 10 centers in the city and surrounding area. We have 5 centers in Jakarta, 3 in the suburban area of Tangerang and 2 in a city south of Jakarta called Bogor.
