Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a reputable university.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in residential interior design, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end private residential projects (landed houses and apartments).
- Prior experience leading, mentoring, or supervising a team of interior designers is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, material specifications, construction methods, and building standards.
- Excellent ability to understand clients' needs and translate them into creative, functional, and commercially viable design solutions.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, managing project pipelines, and delivering outstanding customer experience.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance design quality, client satisfaction, and commercial objectives.
- Proficient in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and other relevant design software.
- Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Resilient, target-oriented, and and resilient in handling challenges and client expectations.
- Willing to work full-time from the office (Head Office or Dekoruma Experience Center).
Job Description
- Lead and oversee the quality of design deliverables, including design concepts and technical drawings, ensuring they meet clients' requirements, company standards, and project timelines.
- Monitor and drive the performance, productivity, and development of the Interior Design team, ensuring design quality, project milestones, and service excellence are consistently achieved.
- Plan, prioritize, and optimize designers' project assignments and workloads to maximize team capacity and on-time project delivery.
- Drive the achievement of individual and team monthly and annual sales targets for custom interior solutions through effective pipeline management and sales execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to deliver exceptional customer experiences, increase client satisfaction, and generate repeat and referral business.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing Interior Design team by setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and strengthening both design and commercial capabilities.
- Monitor project execution from consultation through completion, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to proactively resolve issues, minimize project risks, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee project commercial performance, including pricing strategy, quotation approval, billing, payment collection, and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Analyze sales performance, project pipelines, and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement initiatives that enhance business growth and team productivity.
