Instructor Golang & Curriculum Development (Remote)

We are looking for a Curriculum Development & Instructor Golang to develop high-quality learning materials and teach students in our Golang bootcamp.

Job Description

• Develop lesson plans, curriculum, textbooks, and instructional materials for each subject area.

• Create daily teaching materials and homework assignments for instructors to use in class.

• Develop assessment criteria and tools to measure student progress throughout the batch.

• Collaborate with instructors and the curriculum development team to identify areas for student and curriculum improvement.

• Analyze survey and focus group data to identify subjects that require additional attention or revision.

• Develop and improve teaching methods aligned with current technologies and modern approaches to education.

• Coordinate with instructors, curriculum, engineering, career, and other teams to support program development.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of the Golang bootcamp curriculum and learning experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, IT, or a related field.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience developing and testing Go applications for medium to large-scale backend web applications.

• At least 1 year of experience in education, teaching, or creating educational content.

• Strong understanding of Algorithms & Data Structures.

• Strong knowledge of the Go programming language, including paradigms, constructs, and idiomatic Go.

• Strong knowledge of Go frameworks, particularly Gin.

• Strong understanding of Goroutines and channel patterns.

• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming and backend development.

• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML/HTML protocols.

• Experience with ORM and database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

• Experience with GORM.

• Experience developing Authentication & Authorization systems and Middleware.

• Experience deploying backend applications, preferably using AWS.

• Experience with developer tools such as Git, GitHub, Command Line, and Postman.

• Experience with unit testing in Go.

• Familiarity with infrastructure and systems engineering.

• Experience scaling services on cloud computing platforms such as GCP is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with different teams and stakeholders.
