IMPORT SALES EXECUTIVE
We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven professional to join our team as an Import Sales Executive. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in import/export operations, international logistics, and sales development, with excellent English communication skills and comprehensive knowledge of customs clearance procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international clients, agents, and business partners
- Identify and generate new business opportunities within import and logistics services
- Handle client inquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales opportunities
- Coordinate closely with operations, shipping, and customs clearance teams to ensure smooth import processes
- Monitor shipment progress and ensure compliance with import regulations and documentation requirements
- Provide professional consultation and tailored logistics solutions to clients
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import regulations, freight market trends, and customs procedures
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Import Sales, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or International Trade
- Strong understanding of import procedures, customs clearance, shipping documentation, and freight operations
- Proven track record in sales and business development within the import/export industry
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Familiar with Incoterms, international shipping processes, and customs regulations
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network within logistics, import/export, or related industries
- Experience handling international clients and overseas suppliers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
