About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HSE Staff member to join our team in Tangerang Selatan, Banten. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring our operations maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance. As an HSE Staff member, you will be instrumental in protecting our workforce, safeguarding our environment, and ensuring that all activities align with relevant regulations and company policies. This role is fundamental to our commitment to operational excellence and corporate responsibility.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures across all operational areas
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Provide safety training and induction programmes to employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure awareness and compliance
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending preventive measures
- Maintain comprehensive HSE documentation, records, and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external agencies on matters related to health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Monitor and manage environmental impact assessments and ensure adherence to environmental protection standards
- Promote a strong safety culture by engaging with staff at all levels and encouraging proactive reporting of hazards
- Coordinate emergency response drills and maintain emergency preparedness protocols
- Support the continuous improvement of HSE performance through data analysis and recommendations
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in HSE roles within the energy, oil & gas, or industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as international management system standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Proficient in HSE risk assessment methodologies, hazard identification, and implementation of effective risk control measures.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and deliver effective HSE training and safety awareness programs.
- Experienced in preparing, implementing, and maintaining HSE Plans, including project-specific HSE documentation and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS) requirements, with the ability to prepare, review, and manage CSMS documentation for client prequalification and project execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees, contractors, clients, and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Professional certification such as Ahli K3 Umum (AK3U/AHSP) or an equivalent HSE certification is preferred
