Deskripsi pekerjaan HSE Specialist PT Lianhua Leather Industry
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified HSE Specialist to join our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, managing environmental compliance, and ensuring a hazard-free work environment specialized in tannery operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and ensure daily compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations on the production floor.
2. Oversee the operation and compliance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP / IPAL) and hazardous waste (B3) management.
3. Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments (HIRADC), and accident investigations.
4. Prepare and maintain documentation for internal and external HSE audits, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and LWG (Leather Working Group) standards.
5. Deliver HSE induction, safety briefings, and training programs for all employees and contractors.
6. Coordinate the maintenance and availability of firefighting equipment, PPE, and safety signage.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety (K3), or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience as an HSE Staff, preferably within the Tannery (Penyamakan Kulit) or heavy chemical manufacturing industry.
3. Must hold a valid "Ahli K3 Umum" certification from the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker).
4. Strong knowledge of Energy efficiency, GHG emission, Waste handling management, Higg FEM, Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)
5. Certifications in Wastewater Treatment (PPPA/POPA) or Hazardous Waste Management (PLB3) will be a strong advantage.
6. Good understanding of chemical handling, safety data sheets (SDS), and matrix risks associated with leather processing.
7. Familiar with LWG (Leather Working Group) environmental compliance protocols is highly preferred.
