About the role
We are seeking an experienced HRD (Human Resources Development) professional to join our team on a full-time basis at our Bululawang facility in Jawa Timur. This is a strategic position within our organisation, responsible for driving human resources initiatives that support our business objectives and foster a positive workplace environment. As HRD, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing HR policies, managing talent acquisition and retention, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. Your work will directly contribute to building a skilled, motivated, and engaged workforce that propels PT Sinar Taman Plastindo towards continued success.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HR policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with company objectives and Indonesian labour
regulations
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees
- Manage employee relations, including addressing grievances, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering positive workplace communication
- Design and coordinate employee training and development programmes to enhance skills, competencies, and career progression
- Administer compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring competitive positioning and employee satisfaction
- Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Maintain accurate personnel records and HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements
- Support succession planning and talent management initiatives to build organisational capacity
- Collaborate with department managers to address staffing needs and improve departmental performance
- Develop and deliver HR initiatives focused on employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related fields
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in human resources management or HR advisory roles within manufacturing or industrial settings
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labour laws, regulations, and employment practices
- Strong expertise in recruitment and talent acquisition processes
- Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels
- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive personnel matters
- Preferably, candidates with HR certification from professional bodies such as Indonesian HR associations would be advantageous
