Housekeeping SPV

Grand Kesambi is looking for a meticulous, highly organized, and leadership-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor. In this role, you will lead our housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic appeal across all guest rooms and public areas. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that every guest experiences a comfortable, flawless, and welcoming environment during their stay.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field (Candidates with a Vocational High School/SMK background in Hospitality with extensive experience are welcome to apply).
• Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience as a Senior Room Attendant/Senior Housekeeper, or 1 – 2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor/Team Leader in a Hotel, Resort, or Villa.
• In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations, room making/setup standards, and sanitation protocols.
• Proficiency in handling cleaning chemicals, linen management, and inventory/stock control.
• Familiarity with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) to update room statuses in real-time.
• Strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) standards.
• Good command of English (conversational and written) for basic interactions with international guests and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of room attendants and housemen, assigning tasks fairly based on daily occupancy.
• Conduct strict daily inspections of all vacant, ready, and occupied rooms, as well as public areas, to ensure compliance with our quality and cleanliness standards.
• Manage and monitor the inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities, including conducting regular stock opnames to prevent shortages or waste.
• Conduct daily briefings, grooming checks, and regular on-the-job training for the housekeeping staff to ensure consistent service quality.
• Promptly identify any maintenance issues or damages in rooms/public areas and issue work orders to the Engineering department.
• Coordinate seamlessly with the Front Office regarding room availability/status and respond swiftly to any guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping.
