Housekeeping is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and comfort of all public areas within the property, such as hotels, offices, malls, or other facilities. This position ensures that all frequently used spaces by guests, employees, and visitors are clean, hygienic, and meet the company’s operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, emergency stairs, parking areas, and lounges.
- Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, glass cleaning, dusting, and waste management in public areas.
- Ensure public restrooms are always clean, fully stocked (tissue, soap, sanitizer), and functioning properly.
- Conduct routine inspections of public area facilities (lighting, cleaning tools, safety signage).
- Report any damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and according to SOPs.
- Keep public areas tidy, safe, and presentable at all times.
- Assist guests/visitors politely and professionally as needed.
- Follow work schedules, shifts, and daily assignment sheets provided by the supervisor.
- Adhere to hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety (HSE) standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in housekeeping or cleaning service for 1 years.
- Good personal hygiene & appearance
- Proficiency in using equipment, chemical, etc
- Ability to follow cleaning schedule
- Able to speak english
- Physically fit, able to stand for long periods, and lift light to moderate items.
