About Tabah Ubud
Tabah Ubud is a boutique hospitality property located in the heart of Ubud, Gianyar, Bali. We aim to provide guests with a comfortable, personalised, and authentic experience inspired by the charm of Ubud.
We are currently operating 4 units and are planning to expand to 15 units over the next year. As we enter this exciting stage of growth, we are looking for a hands-on, organised, and motivated Hotel Manager to help develop our operations and grow with the business.
This is an opportunity to play an important role in shaping a growing boutique hospitality brand, improving operational standards, and creating memorable guest experiences.
About the Role
As Hotel Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of Tabah Ubud, ensuring that our properties run smoothly and our guests receive excellent service. You will manage reservations, coordinate housekeeping and maintenance, communicate with guests, monitor performance, and support the development of our team.
You will also help establish efficient systems and standard operating procedures as we expand from 4 to 15 units, ensuring that service quality and attention to detail remain consistent throughout our growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily hotel and accommodation operations.
Oversee Airbnb listings, reservations, pricing, availability, and guest communication.
Manage bookings across online travel platforms and ensure calendars are kept up to date.
Coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, and property inspections.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and guest satisfaction.
Handle guest enquiries, reviews, feedback, and complaints professionally.
Monitor expenses, budgets, occupancy, and operational performance.
Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and external business partners.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures to support business expansion.
Help recruit, train, and coordinate team members as the property grows.
Ensure consistent operational standards across all units.
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in hospitality, hotel operations, villa management, or a related field.
Good working knowledge of Airbnb and its hosting application.
Experience managing reservations, guest communications, calendars, and online listings.
Must have their own laptop for daily work and online property management.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and other basic office applications.
Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
A hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and lead a team.
Attention to detail and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow with the business.
Previous experience with boutique hotels, villas, or short-term rental properties is an advantage.
Work Arrangement
Location: Ubud, Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia
Work arrangement: Live and Work on site, accomodation provided
