About the Role
BITTO Woodfire Social Grill is looking for a friendly, confident, and hospitality-driven Host / Hostess to create a welcoming first impression and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
As the first point of contact, you will welcome guests, manage reservations, coordinate table assignments, and ensure a smooth guest journey while representing BITTO's warm, social, and community-driven identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, waiting lists, and table assignments.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth guest seating and table turnover.
- Handle reservation inquiries, telephone calls, and guest requests.
- Provide accurate information about the restaurant, menu, operating hours, and house rules.
- Assist in resolving guest concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception area.
- Follow BITTO's hospitality standards, SOPs, grooming requirements, and service procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar hospitality position is preferred.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Friendly personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Well-groomed, confident, organized, and attentive to detail.
- Able to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and guest-handling skills.
- Familiarity with reservation systems, especially TableCheck, is an advantage.
- Willing to work evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
