General Responsibilities:
- Ensure all guests are satisfied during their visit. Leaving them with happy memories and wanting to return. This can be achieved by providing warm and friendly, responsive and professional service.
Job Specific Responsibilities :
- Welcome and greet the guest.
- Offering assistance and support throughout their visit.
- Ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Ensure the hostess area and surrounding areas are clean and organized.
- Assist other team members as needed for a positive guest experience.
- Ensure the hosts are organized and well-maintained, and that all necessary materials are available.
- Clearly communicate with guest, server, and other team members to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage table assignments and ensure that guests are seated promptly and efficiently.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude to guests and team members.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Keep accurate and up to date records of reservation, guest information, inventory and other relevant data.
- Communicate with other departments. Such as server and management, to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, and completing paperwork.
