About the role
7AM 7PM Group is seeking a welcoming and professional Host/Hostess to join our Front Office & Guest Services team in where the placement will be in some areas which is Denpasar, Gianyar and Canggu. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in creating an exceptional first impression for our guests. As the face of our establishment, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring every visitor feels valued and welcomed from the moment they arrive. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality and maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Greet all guests with a warm, professional demeanour and provide excellent customer service upon arrival
- Manage the reservations system, including booking confirmations, check-ins and check-outs
- Seat guests promptly and ensure their dining or service experience begins smoothly
- Answer guest enquiries regarding facilities, amenities, and services
- Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized and inviting reception or entrance area
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations throughout service periods
- Monitor wait times and communicate accurately with guests regarding service availability
- Maintain detailed records of reservations, special requests and guest preferences
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in a hospitality, guest services or front-of-house role, preferably in a hotel, restaurant or similar establishment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, particularly when managing multiple reservations and guest requests simultaneously
- Customer service excellence with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Proficiency in using reservation systems and point-of-sale technology
- Fluency in English and Indonesian
- Professional appearance and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- A positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
