Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, inspire, and develop the Pastry & Bakery team to achieve operational excellence.
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct coaching, performance evaluations, and succession planning.
Product Development
- Develop innovative pastries, breads, cakes, desserts, and seasonal menu offerings.
- Tandardize recipes, preparation methods, and product presentation.
- Stay updated with market trends and introduce new concepts to enhance competitiveness.
Operations Management
- Manage daily pastry and bakery production to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Ensure products meet company standards for taste, quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Plan production based on sales forecasts and operational requirements.
Cost & Inventory Control
- Monitor food cost and production efficiency.
- Reduce waste through effective inventory and production planning.
- Work closely with the Purchasing team to ensure ingredient quality and availability.
Food Safety & Quality Assurance
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
- Conduct routine quality audits and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Purchasing, and Management to support new product launches and business initiatives.
- Participate in outlet openings, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
