Head of Strategy
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Innovation
- Lead end-to-end strategic development, from research and insights to recommendations , media plan and presentations.
- Develop innovative, insight-led solutions that go beyond conventional approaches.
- Stay ahead of consumer trends, cultural shifts, and emerging platforms to identify new opportunities for clients and the agency.
- Experience in creating end-to-end media plans, including audience strategy, channel selection, budget allocation, and campaign measurement.
Client & Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and growth opportunities.
- Support new business opportunities, pitches, and initiatives “beyond-hygiene”.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the strategy team.
- Provide clear direction, manage workloads, facilitate brainstorming sessions, and ensure high-quality strategic output.
- Build strong collaboration between strategy, account, creative, media, and production teams.
Strategic Leadership
- Lead the agency's strategic direction across clients, campaigns, and business initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between client objectives, agency goals, and project execution.
- Monitor business and team performance, including KPI tracking and improvement planning.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning and media strategy within a creative, digital, or integrated agency.
- Experience working across multiple brand categories, preferably FMCG.
- Strong understanding of BTL and Influencer Marketing.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive high performance.
- Strong decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong business, brand, and consumer understanding.
- Strong client-facing and communications skills.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop strategic recommendations that drive measurable business results.
- Experience working closely with account, creative, media, and production teams.
