Deskripsi pekerjaan Head of R&D PT. Kriya Nusantara Group
This role needs a strong leadership to lead our R&D team turning design briefs and ideas into well-developed, well-documented, production-ready products.
Jobdesc :
- Lead, coach, and develop the R&D team
- Assign projects and workloads based on individual capacity and capability
- Monitor each designer's progress and priorities
- Set clear deadlines and ensure accountability
- Coordinate collaboration between R&D, production, PPIC, and other related teams
- Manage the overall product development timeline from design brief to production handover
- Prioritize projects according to buyer requirements, business needs, and production capacity
- Monitor multiple projects simultaneously
- Identify bottlenecks and resolve issues before they affect deadlines
- Ensure drawings, specifications, BOM, material information, measurements, and other technical documents are complete and accurate
- Ensure all required documents are delivered to production on time
- Solve design and manufacturing issues during development
- Balance aesthetics, functionality, material availability, cost, and manufacturability
- Support prototyping and product improvement
Qualifications:
- Has 3+ years of experience in R&D, Product Development, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
- Has experience leading or managing a R&D team
- Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes
- Able to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and product documentation
- Able to review designs from both aesthetic and manufacturing perspectives
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Detail-oriented, organized, and highly accountable
- Experience in furniture, home décor, craft, or woodworking would be a strong advantage
