PT Nextgen Ventures Internasional is seeking a dynamic, commercially minded female professional with a strong understanding of sustainability to join us as Head of Operations for our green economy and sustainability business.

This business develops commercial opportunities that address environmental and sustainability needs, including resource efficiency, the circular economy, waste management, and sustainable solutions for companies and institutions. Our goal is to build a profitable business that delivers measurable environmental and business impact.

As Head of Operations, you will lead operational execution and support business development, from identifying opportunities and establishing partnerships to delivering and evaluating projects. This role requires sustainability knowledge, hands-on operational capabilities, and the commercial judgment to translate market needs into profitable services and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute operational plans that support business growth in the green economy and sustainability sectors.
2. Identify market needs and contribute to the development of commercially viable services and business models.
3. Build relationships and partnerships with companies, institutions, communities, technology providers, and implementation partners within the environmental and sustainability ecosystem.
4. Manage project delivery, including activity planning, resource allocation, partner coordination, cost control, and timely completion.
5. Support the preparation of business proposals and service offerings, and pursue project and partnership opportunities.
6. Establish and monitor indicators for operational performance, business results, service quality, and relevant environmental outcomes.
7. Improve business processes and ensure effective coordination among internal teams, clients, and partners.
8. Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with applicable environmental standards and relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Desired Attributes

1. A female professional with at least a bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in operations, project management, business development, or sustainability.
2. A strong understanding of the green economy and sustainability, including the circular economy, resource efficiency, waste management, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
3. The ability to translate environmental solutions into commercially viable services, projects, and sustainable revenue streams.
4. A well-established professional network within the business, environmental, or sustainability ecosystem, with the ability to turn relationships into productive partnerships.
5. Strong capabilities in managing projects, teams, partners, project budgets, and operational targets.
6. Sound commercial judgment in assessing opportunities, understanding client needs, and evaluating costs and profitability.
7. An agile, adaptable, and proactive approach, with a willingness to participate directly in partner meetings and on-site project activities.
8. Strong skills in Operations Management, Business Development, Networking, Project Management, Process Improvement, Performance Management, and Resource Allocation.
9. Fluency in spoken and written English is required, including the ability to lead professional discussions, deliver presentations, and prepare business proposals and correspondence.
10. Mandarin proficiency is a significant advantage, particularly for engaging with international partners and exploring cross-border business opportunities.
11. Experience delivering environmental projects, developing sustainability services, or establishing partnerships with corporate clients is an advantage.

Work Arrangement and Location

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, based in South Jakarta, Indonesia, with travel and on-site engagement as required for project delivery and business development.
