About Pangea:
We are a pioneering impact startup on a mission to create products that clean and decarbonize our planet using science and technology. We retrieve plastic waste from rivers and mangrove forests and transform it into high-quality products and materials for the production of eyewear, apparel, and accessories.
We started D2C with our sustainable outdoor gear product line and are now evolving B2B with a new vertical of Materials to expand our circular regenerative model on an industrial level, for other companies. We are gearing up to launch our eyewear materials in February 2025 in Milan.
Our vision is to accelerate the transition to a regenerative circular economy and create the most sustainable supply chain for the fashion and outdoor industry worldwide. By using our materials, any brand can become planet-positive and truly sustainable without greenwashing.
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate, committed, and creative Head of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy across all channels. We are looking for someone with 3+ years of senior marketing experience leading 6-7-figure companies, ideally in the fashion or outdoor gear industries. Someone with a deep love for our planet and sustainability, and who wants to use business as a force for good.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan that increases brand awareness, drives sales, and supports the company's overall growth objectives. You will manage third-party agencies and freelancers as needed. We plan to maintain the sales of our existing products and grow our new materials vertical aggressively.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a data-driven marketing strategy across all our channels, including:
- Wholesale (of our products and materials)
- E-commerce platforms for our products and materials (Shopify)
- Social Media (Instagram, Linkedin, maybe Youtube and TikTok)
- PR media
- Brand partnerships
- Email marketing campaigns - Manage and maintain the company website (pangeamovement.com), including SEO and blog posts, and the new materials website
- Manage the creation and distribution of compelling marketing content and marketing materials that resonate with our target audiences
- Oversee and manage the marketing budget
- Gather, analyze and report marketing performance data through a marketing dashboard and identify areas for improvement
- Build the marketing team by onboarding, leading and managing a group of marketing professionals and agencies
- Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and technologies
Outcomes:
- Develop and implement an Annual Marketing Plan. Q3
- Develop and implement Social Media Strategy. Q3
- Select and onboard necessary marketing team members and agencies. Q3
- Renovate the PANGEA website and optimize it for high conversions, both B2C for consumer goods and B2B for our new materials. Q3
- Improve ratings and grow positive reviews across all channels. Q3
- Review and enhance B2B products catalog. Q3
- Collaborate with the branding and product development of our materials vertical. Q3
- Strategic Marketing Plan and execution of B2B Eyewear Materials pilot program. Q4
- Develop and execute a comprehensive tradeshow plan for the launch of our Eyewear materials at a trade show in Q1 2025 in Milan (including pre-launch, booth design and production, print collateral, A/V content, and all necessary marketing needs). Q3-Q4
- Get editorial coverage in reputable media outlets such as Vogue, GQ, etc. Q1 2025
- Manage to receive awards for design, science, and sustainability of our materials, Q1-Q2 2025

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of Senior marketing experience, within the consumer goods and e-commerce industry, ideally in fashion or outdoors. Trade show and B2B experience preferred
- BA in Marketing or Business, ideally a MA in Digital Marketing
- Deep understanding of US and EU Markets
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns for e-commerce and B2B, and driving 2-3x growth per year
- Strong understanding and experience with digital marketing channels and strategies (Email, SEO, SEM, social media marketing, etc.)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead a team of in-house employees and outsourced agencies
- Ability to deliver projects on time and before deadline and achieve or exceed sales targets
- Data-driven and analytical approach to marketing
- Passion for sustainability and environmental impact

Additional Information:

- Native English speaker required
- Bahasa Indonesia speaker a plus
Working hours:
- Monday to Fridays
- 10:00am - 6:00pm, with flexibility.
