Role Description
The Head of Marketing at Sosplan Creative is a contract, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Marketing to lead our agency's marketing initiatives and drive sustainable business growth.
This role is responsible for increasing brand awareness, generating qualified leads, building strategic partnerships, and supporting the sales pipeline through effective marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate understands both branding and performance marketing, has experience in agency or B2B marketing, and is comfortable leading outbound and inbound growth initiatives.
This position leads the overall marketing strategy, including planning, execution, and optimization of campaigns across digital and offline channels.
Day-to-day responsibilities include developing marketing plans, overseeing market research, guiding brand positioning, and coordinating with creative, sales, and business development teams.
The Head of Marketing will manage the marketing budget, monitor performance metrics, and present insights and recommendations to leadership.
This role also involves mentoring team members, maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, and ensuring all marketing activities align with Sosplan Creative’s business goals.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Market Planning and Marketing Management to design, implement, and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies.
- Ability to conduct and interpret Market Research to identify customer needs, trends, and competitive positioning.
- Experience in Sales and Public Relations to support revenue growth and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience managing marketing teams or projects, with the ability to guide and develop team members.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, branding, and content-driven campaigns.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with fluency in English and Indonesian preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience with marketing metrics and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
