Head Chef – Opening New Indonesian Restaurant
Job Description
- Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standards.
- Develop and improve Indonesian menu offerings.
- Manage kitchen staff, scheduling, and training.
- Control food cost, inventory, and kitchen supplies.
- Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
- Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian cuisine.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Understanding of food costing and inventory control.
- Creative, organized, and able to work under pressure.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
