Sandy Bay Restaurant on beautiful Nusa Lembongan is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and drive culinary excellence.
About the Role
As Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, maintain exceptional food quality, manage and develop the culinary team, and help create memorable dining experiences for guests from around the world.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and inspire the kitchen team
• Develop and maintain high-quality menus
• Ensure consistent food presentation and standards
• Manage food costs, ordering, and inventory
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
• Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff
• Work closely with management to drive profitability and guest satisfaction
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience in high-volume restaurant operations
• Passion for fresh, creative, and quality-driven cuisine
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen management
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced island hospitality environment
