At ETTA the Place Brawa, the bar is more than just a place to serve drinks—it's where creativity, hospitality, and memorable experiences come together. We're looking for a Head Bartender who can lead our bar operations, inspire the team, and craft exceptional beverage experiences while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Create, develop, and regularly update signature cocktail and beverage menus aligned with ETTA Place's concept.
- Train, mentor, and supervise the bar team to deliver consistent service and product quality.
- Ensure all beverages are prepared according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships to minimize waste and control costs.
- Conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and management team on beverage pairings, promotions, and special events.
- Manage bar opening and closing procedures, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Analyze beverage sales and profitability, recommending improvements where necessary.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve service issues promptly.
- Support the pre-opening process, including SOP development, equipment setup, menu engineering, and team recruitment.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior bartender or bar leadership role.
- Previous experience in boutique hotels, premium restaurants, or cocktail bars is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wines, coffee basics, and current beverage trends.
- Experience creating cocktail menus and managing beverage cost.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Good English communication skills spoken and written (required).
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and genuine passion for hospitality.
