Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across all Merlin’s facilities.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, lighting, switches, and power outlets.
- Maintain plumbing systems, including water pipes, sinks, toilets, and drainage.
- Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting of air conditioning (AC) and ventilation systems.
- Perform general handyman tasks, including minor carpentry, painting, and furniture repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance issues and prevent equipment breakdowns.
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and technical problems.
- Support the installation and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facilities.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and company procedures.
- Coordinate with external technicians or contractors when specialized repairs are required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Handyman, Maintenance Technician, MEP Technician, or Electrician.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, AC, and general building maintenance.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair skills are essential.
- Able to perform various maintenance and repair tasks independently.
- Familiar with maintenance tools, equipment, and workplace safety procedures.
- Responsible, proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.
- Able to respond quickly to urgent technical issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, or commercial buildings is preferred.
- Willing to work flexible schedules when required.
