ICT Teacher (Elementary School) – Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated ICT Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for introducing elementary students to information and communication technology through engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate learning experiences. The teacher is expected to foster digital literacy, critical thinking, creativity, and responsible technology use among students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver ICT lessons for elementary school students
* Teach basic computer skills, digital literacy, and educational technology concepts
* Create interactive and student-centered learning activities
* Support students in developing responsible and ethical technology usage
* Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments
* Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Maintain a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
* Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to support academic programs
* Integrate technology effectively into classroom learning activities
* Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programs
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
* Strong understanding of basic computer applications and educational technology
* Passion for teaching and working with children
* Good communication and classroom management skills
* Creative, patient, responsible, and able to work collaboratively
* Previous teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory
Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic educational software
* Ability to create engaging digital learning content
* Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
* Adaptability to modern teaching methods and technology trends
