Job Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Art lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Foster creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression through various art media and techniques.
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor students' learning progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and student assessments.
- Organize classroom displays, exhibitions, and student artwork.
- Participate in school events, exhibitions, and extracurricular activities related to art.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and parents to support student development.
- Maintain classroom equipment and ensure proper use of art materials.
- Complete administrative duties related to teaching and student records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome to apply).
- Passionate about teaching children and nurturing creativity.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to teach using various art techniques and media (drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts, mixed media, etc.).
- Familiar with lesson planning and student assessment.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience teaching in an international school is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching Cambridge, IB, or other international curricula.
- Ability to organize art exhibitions and school performances.
- Creative, patient, enthusiastic, and highly organized.
- Able to integrate technology into classroom learning.
