Deskripsi pekerjaan Guru Program Enrichment - PAUD Orchard Enabling Centre
We are looking for Part-time applicants for this position, but interested applicants looking for a full-time position are welcome to apply.
At Orchard Enabling Centre, we believe that every child deserves the chance to pursue their aspirations and develop their passions, including a child with autism or other special needs. We also recognise that each child is unique, and we craft individualised learning plans and activities to match their different interests, strengths, and learning styles. Besides using evidence-based practices and gold standard approaches for our therapy sessions, we also strive to create an inclusive environment where neurotypical and neurodivergent children can come together and play and be friends in our enrichment programmes.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Assist in the program design process by providing creative ideas
- Research for activities to teach (e.g. simple cooking and baking recipes, arts & crafts, fun science activities)
- Help supervise children during enrichment programs
- Helping neurotypical children and children with special needs to socialize and play together regardless of their respective strengths and weaknesses
- Make reports for each child after every session, following the template provided)
Requirements
- Able to teach in English confidently (for our English-speaking clients)
- Have great English language proficiency (spoken interaction, reading, writing)
- Passionate about children
- Have a good educational background with good grades (Preferably graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, PGTK or Psychology)
- Want to teach, understand and help children with special needs (Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, etc
- Can make crafts; creative and skilled
- If you have knowledge or have undergone Montessori education, it will be a big added value
- Minimum 2 years work experience
- Willing to work on Saturdays

We also enable children academically, by providing tutoring support for academic subjects for those who are studying mainstream curriculum.
We are looking to build a strong core team consisting of highly-experienced psychologists, therapists and professionals, who not only have the qualifications to counsel and guide children and parents, but also have the heart and passion to go the extra mile to support them and improve their quality of life.
