Job Description
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Music lessons aligned with the IB and/or Cambridge curriculum.
- Foster students' musical skills, creativity, confidence, and appreciation for music through vocal, instrumental, and performance-based learning.
- Organize and lead school performances, concerts, assemblies, and other music-related events.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
- Assess, monitor, and report students' academic progress and personal development.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support students' holistic development.
- Participate in curriculum development, school activities, professional development programs, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
- Familiarity with the IB and/or Cambridge curriculum is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in vocal and instrumental music instruction.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about inspiring students through music and performance.
- Willing to participate actively in school performances and extracurricular activities.
- Possesses a collaborative mindset, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous learning.
