Job Description
1. Conduct English language training focusing on speaking, listening, pronunciation, and conversation skills, starting from basic to workplace communication levels.
2. Develop and deliver English for Specific Purposes (ESP) learning materials for Barista, Hospitality, Waiter/Waitress, and Spa Therapist programs.
3. Conduct role-play activities and workplace simulations based on real professional situations in each vocational field.
4. Teach technical vocabulary, equipment, materials, and workplace procedures related to students' respective occupations.
5. Prepare lesson plans, weekly learning schedules, and supporting teaching materials.
6. Conduct regular speaking tests, progress assessments, and international job interview simulations.
7. Monitor students' learning progress, provide feedback, and conduct remedial sessions for students who have not achieved the required standards.
8. Prepare learning evaluation reports and maintain accurate records of students' attendance and performance.
9. Coordinate with vocational instructors and the job placement team to align English training materials with overseas employer requirements.
10. Prepare students to communicate effectively and confidently in international workplace environments.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree (S1) in English Education, English Literature, or a related field.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in English language teaching or a related field.
3. Excellent English communication skills, particularly in speaking, listening, pronunciation, and conversation.
4. Able to teach English from beginner to intermediate levels.
5. Experienced in preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and student assessments.
6. Able to develop English learning materials for specific occupational fields (English for Specific Purposes).
7. Able to conduct speaking assessments, role-play activities, and job interview simulations.
8. Good communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
9. Disciplined, responsible, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively with a team.
10. Willing to be assigned to Semarang, Central Java.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching English for vocational training or professional workplace environments.
- Experience developing English for Specific Purposes (ESP) materials.
- TOEFL/IELTS certification or TEFL/TESOL certification.
- Familiarity with Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Spa industry terminology.
- Able to provide a teaching portfolio or microteaching demonstration.
