Guidance and Counseling Teacher (Junior Secondary)

Responsibilities:

1. Provide individual and group counseling to students.
2. Support students in their academic, emotional, and social development.
3. Address behavioral issues and help create strategies for improvement.
4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators.
5. Conduct student assessments and maintain confidential records.
6. Organize workshops and programs related to student well-being.
7. Promote a safe and inclusive school culture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Counseling or Psychology.
• Teaching certification or license (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a school counselor or similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and student-centered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a junior secondary or international school setting.
• Familiarity with adolescent development and crisis intervention techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
