Guest Service Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greet guests warmly and handle check-in and check-out procedures in accordance with hotel standards.
2. Manage reservations, cancellations, amendments, and room allocations.
3. Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate front office records.
4. Respond to guest inquiries, provide information on hotel facilities and local attractions.
5. Handle guest requests, complaints, and special needs promptly and professionally.
6. Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
7. Maintain a professional appearance, comply with safety standards, and ensure guest confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

1. Minimum high school diploma (Hospitality or related field preferred); Diploma/Bachelors degree is an advantage.
2. Previous experience in front office or hospitality is preferred.
3. Good command of English, both spoken and written (additional languages are a plus).
4. Computer literacy and knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) are an advantage.
5. Strong communication skills, customer-oriented mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
6. Professional, friendly, and able to work in a team.
7. Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
