Senior Restaurant Host – Full Time
Job Description
* Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner to create a positive first impression.
* Manage guest flow, waiting lists, and table arrangements efficiently.
* Handle reservations through phone calls, WhatsApp, and other reservation platforms.
* Coordinate with the operations team (servers, cashiers, kitchen staff, and supervisors) to ensure smooth service.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally while providing appropriate solutions.
* Ensure the front area of the restaurant is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
* Maintain and uphold hospitality and service standards.
* Stay composed and maintain service quality during busy operating hours.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Host / Hostess / Front of House in restaurants, cafés, hotels, or the hospitality industry.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Professional appearance with a positive attitude and pleasant personality.
* Able to work efficiently, pay attention to detail, and remain calm under pressure.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints.
* Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
* Familiarity with reservation systems or operational software is a plus.
* Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience leading or mentoring front-of-house staff.
* Confident and comfortable interacting with guests from different backgrounds.
