Greeter (English Speaker)
Job Description
- Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly and positive first impression.
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and provide information regarding waiting times when necessary.
- Handle guest inquiries and assist with basic requests in a polite and professional manner.
- Communicate with guests in English when required, especially with international customers.
- Manage and coordinate guest waiting lists and reservations accurately.
- Ensure the entrance and waiting area are clean, organized, and presentable.
- Coordinate with the Service and other operational teams to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Assist in handling guest concerns and communicate them to the appropriate team when necessary.
- Support other front-of-house activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma/equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Greeter, Host/Hostess, Frontliner, or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, for daily customer interactions.
- Friendly, confident, and comfortable interacting with guests.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-groomed, presentable, and professional in appearance.
- Able to remain calm and attentive when handling busy situations or multiple guests.
- Customer-oriented with a strong service mindset.
- Able to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and according to restaurant operational schedules.
