--Game Graphic Designer
Melaju Digital is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Game Graphic Designer to create visually engaging and high-quality artwork and graphic assets for gaming products and campaigns. This is a 6-month contract position for individuals who are passionate about games, visual design, and digital entertainment, with a strong understanding of gaming audiences and current visual trends.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging visual assets for games, gaming campaigns, and digital platforms
- Develop graphic materials for game launches, updates, events, promotions, and in-game campaigns
- Design promotional assets such as key visuals, banners, posters, thumbnails, social media content, advertisements, and marketing materials
- Create visual assets that support game characters, features, events, items, and promotional campaigns
- Collaborate with the game development, marketing, creative, and product teams to develop visual concepts and creative materials
- Translate creative briefs and game concepts into compelling and visually consistent designs
- Ensure all designs align with the game's visual identity, art direction, and brand guidelines
- Stay updated with gaming, design, pop culture, and digital entertainment trends to create relevant and appealing visuals
- Prepare and organize design assets, project files, templates, and production materials efficiently
- Revise and improve designs based on feedback while maintaining quality and meeting project deadlines
- Support the team in developing creative concepts for game campaigns, events, updates, and community activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, Multimedia, or any related major, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in graphic design, preferably in gaming, entertainment, digital content, advertising, or related industries
- Strong portfolio and relevant design experience are welcome to apply
- Passionate about games and the gaming industry
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles, including composition, typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and layout
- Able to create designs that communicate effectively to gaming audiences
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in visual execution
- Creative, proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working with creative briefs and receiving design feedback
- A portfolio showcasing graphic design work is required, preferably including gaming, game marketing, entertainment, or digital content
