Deskripsi pekerjaan Graphic Designer Rebrind
About the role
Rebrind is looking for a freelance Graphic Designer who treats layouts like a love language. You’ll design publications and communication materials for our projects, mostly layout-heavy ones: reports, books, company profiles, presentations and infographics.
Responsibilities
- Design graphics and layouts for Publication, Marketing and Communications projects: books, reports, company profiles, infographics, presentations, and all kinds of print or digital goodies.
- Create or redesign the identity of a product, service or organisation, aka the brand glow-up.
- Turn complex information and data into clear infographics and data visualizations that people actually get (and maybe even enjoy).
- Supervise vendors’ technical layout work (printing and layout vendors) and make sure the final output meets our quality standard. Think of yourself as the friendly quality police.
- Support external pitches with your design expertise when we need to impress someone.
- Keep up with design trends, techniques and styles, so we never look like last year.
Requirements
- 1 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- A strong grasp of typography, grids and layout principles. You know a baseline grid isn’t a type of fence.
- Strong attention to detail: you spot the small things, double-check your work, and deliver it polished and error-free. Yes, even the typo in the footer.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset. When the brief gets messy, you get creative, not panicky.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. We’re a team, not strangers sharing Wi-Fi.
- Based in Greater Bandung [or able to work on-site in Bandung].
Plus points
- Experience with data visualization and infographics, because we love a good chart.
- Experience working with government agencies, institutions or corporate clients.
- Experience supervising vendors, or directing photo or video shoots.
How to apply
- Portfolio is mandatory. Attach your CV and a portfolio (PDF or link) showing 2 to 3 projects most similar to this role. No portfolio, no review. Those are the rules.
- Start your message with the word LAYOUT. Make it the very first word of your application message, then briefly introduce yourself and the project you are most proud of. Yes, it’s a test of attention to detail, and yes, we’re checking.
